  • McKinney Scholars After School Program

    • 2018/2019 dates TBA
    • Runs until 4:00 Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
    • Open to all students in 3rd grade and above
    • Students work on computer programs for practice in math and reading
    • All students receive a snack

    Adelante Chicas

    • We are excited to have this available to our community in the 2018/2019 school year.  Girls in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will have the opportunity to join.

    What-if? Club

    • This group of sixth graders explores problem solving and collaboration with fun games and challenges.  Karen Lawson is the advisor.  

    4-H Garden Club

    • Students can work on agriculture projects and even get Jr. Master Gardner Certification!

    • Second graders get to do fun math activities!  18/19 Dates TBA

    Girls Engaged in Technology

    • 4th and 5th grade girls using coding to program their own computer games and activities!  Thanks to our Saturday Academy teachers who provide this opportunity.

    • Students learn to design websites and use blogs

    The Other Side of Basketball

    • Students in 4th through 6th grades can learn from world-class coaching from our wonderful partners at the Other Side of Basketball.  18/19 Dates TBA
    Students at McKinney are invited to participate in the Mad Science after-school program.  It will be offered this fall.
