Dear Lenox Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that I am the new Principal of Lenox Elementary School. I am excited to bring my skills as an educational leader to your son’s/daughter’s school and to collaborate with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.
Along with staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Lenox by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners. We will focus on providing a positive and safe school culture and climate through our Positive Behavior Intervention Support program, and consistent and engaging implementation of standards-based teaching and learning to increase students’ growth and achievement.
The diverse student population at Lenox Elementary School provides everyone with an awareness and appreciation for all cultures. The Lenox staff are passionate, dedicated educators who set high standards of achievement so our young scholars can be successful. We are determined to drive rigorous engagement in literacy, writing, math, and science, and provide individualized opportunities for student growth. To ensure this happens, we collaborate regularly around student learning, challenge one another, and seek continuous improvement in teaching and learning. We set high expectations for ourselves and our young scholars, and work together in the process of achieving those expectations.
Thank you for trusting us with the education and caring development of your child. If you have questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teacher or me a call. Family support is a critical link to student achievement. We want to hear from you!
In partnership,
Sarah Keller

Dear Lenox Elementary School Staff and Families,As you know, Principal Gina McLain will become the new principal of Butternut Creek Elementary School as of July 1, 2021, and we have been seeking her replacement at Lenox. Today, I am pleased to announce that Sarah Keller has been selected for the position.
Ms. Keller started her educational career in the Hillsboro School District in 2009 as an elementary classroom teacher. In 2016, she became the District’s PAX teacher on special assignment (TOSA). PAX is a set of research-proven strategies to support students’ social-emotional learning. In 2018, the title of her role changed to universal student supports TOSA, as it not only encompassed PAX, but also the implementation of Sanford Harmony curriculum across the District’s 25 elementary schools.
Ms. Keller also supports visioning, strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of HSD’s Career & College and Social Emotional Learning roadmaps, resources, and overall framework for grades PreK-12; in addition, she serves as co-facilitator of the District’s Climate and Culture professional learning community.
A member of our Future Leaders program for the past three years, Ms. Keller is highly organized and collaborative, a data-driven decision maker, and adept at using culturally-responsive pedagogy in designing and facilitating professional development and system response. I am confident she will do a great job as the next leader of Lenox Elementary School and that you will enjoy working with her.
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Keller and welcoming her to the Lenox Elementary School community.
Sincerely,
Mike Scott

Atentamente,
Mike Scott
Superintendente
