  • Math Migrant After School Program

We have over 40 students that are staying after school once a week for some extra math support. Teachers are using Bridges Intervention Program to work with small groups of students. Students were grouped by math needs (not by grade level). They do activities, games, and lots of math talk! After a short break, they work on computer coding. So far, teachers are very excited about how much the students are engaged and learning!

  • STEM at Mooberry

Students in Shannon Lusk's 4/5 class recently completed a STEM activity in which they were tasked to build the tallest tower possible out of spaghetti noodles and mini marshmallows. Students worked in groups for 25 minutes to complete this engineering feat, which followed their unit on gravity.

Principal's Message

  • Pete Muilenburg Welcome back!

We have so many reasons to be exited about the school year ahead of us.

Our caring and dedicated staff will be back soon and are ecxited to partner with your family to make this an amazing year for

your children. It is my hope that all of us can work together to push and support our students to grow to their greatest potential.

You will surely notice a number of changes as we begin the school year. Our Dual Language program has reached all the way to the 6th grade,

while our AVID system continues to expand schoolwide. Physically, you will notice obvious improvements to our main school building, along with the addition

of our new modular building. All of these improvements have allowed us to make some movements that make sense for kids, including moving kinder and Wellness Center

inside the main building, putting our 5th and 6th graders together in the modular to create a "Mini Middle School" enviroment, as well as safety, confort, and aesthetic upgrades

that will give kids the school they deserve. We also very much look forward to having our new gym and playground, which are expected to be compleated around the end of January.

We are looking forward to another great year!

    Go Mustangs!!
