COMPLETED
- Boiler Replacement
The aging boiler was replaced for more efficient operation. This project was completed in summer 2018.
- Improvements
Over the summers of 2019 and 2020, as well as during the 2020-21 school year when students were not present, R.A. Brown underwent building renovations and upgrades. These improvements include:
- Safety and security upgrades
- Improved main entrance with secure entry
- Security cameras
- Card key access
- Strobes
- Visual warning inside and outside building
- Distributed antenna system (DAS)
- Interior/exterior painting
- Seismic upgrades
- Roofing upgrades
- Add air conditioning
- HVAC direct digital controls
- Domestic water pipe replacement
- New Furniture
After its renovations, the school received new furniture (FFE) in summer 2020 that is known to enhance the learning environment and increase student engagement.
