Access Control

Video doorbell
All exterior doors are kept locked to prevent unauthorized entry, although they are positioned and set up to provide quick, safe exit during an emergency. Instead of keys, card access readers are placed on specific exterior doors, just below video doorbells at main entrances, as well as limited-ingress interior doors to allow authorized entry.

Electronic badges are programmed so that badge holders are permitted entry into specific buildings or areas, and during permitted days and times. If a badge is lost, it is easily deprogrammed with a few mouse clicks in the system and replaced with a new badge for a few dollars. Previously, a lost physical key could require rekeying the whole building for thousands of dollars.
