• Building Improvements, Portables

In summer 2021, the Hillsboro Online Academy/Peter Boscow underwent building improvements that included roofing and extensive seismic upgrades. An ADA-accessible restroom was added near the gym. New lighting and paint in the basement brighten up the space. Additionally, two portables were transported from North Plains Elementary and relocated to the Peter Boscow campus, providing additional classroom and work spaces. A new fire lane and gate improve emergency access to the campus.

• Flexible Furniture

Hillsboro Online Academy received flexible furniture (FFE) in summer 2020. Research shows this type of furniture enhances the learning environment and increases student engagement.

• Roofing

The roof of the Peter Boscow building housing Hillsboro Online Academy was renovated, and includes an added walkway.
