Please note that project costs and schedules may fluctuate due to cost of materials and labor, conditions at the site, unforeseen and/or revised scope, and other factors. Total costs: $6.2 million

COMPLETED

  • Perimeter Fencing/Gates

Scope was added to install fencing and gates in summer 2022 to complete the perimeter around the building to enhance security and separate the play field and students from vehicular traffic in the parking lot.

  • Security Upgrades

In addition to entry security, Lenox's existing security systems were enhanced and upgraded in the 2020-21 school year, including: security cameras, card key access, strobes, and visual warning inside and outside the building.

  • Building Renovations

During summer 2019, Lenox received seismic, roofing and HVAC upgrades. Heat, air conditioning and direct digital controls (DDC) will be added to the upgraded HVAC system.

  • Parent/Bus Dropoff

New parent/bus dropoff areas, completed in August 2019, will ease traffic backup along Rock Creek Blvd., with the goals of increasing the safety of pedestrians and drivers as well as the efficiency and flow of traffic.

  • Flexible Furniture

New flexible furniture (FFE) was delivered to the school in summer 2019. Research has shown that this type of furniture helps stimulate student engagement and learning.
