Photos 1 and 2: the new doors have been added to the vestibule doorway.
Photos 1 and 2: glazing has been added to the new vestibule doorway; installation of new doors and the rest of the security wiring are next.
Photos 1 and 2: frames have been added to the new vestibule doorway.
Photos 1 and 2: every new vestibule doorway is customized to accommodate each school's specific requirements. Construction at Orenco progresses with installation of security pathways and sheetrocking over the doorway frame.
Photo 1: the front entrance to the school already has security measures such as a video doorbell and card access.
Photo 2: a second, interior doorway is being framed to provide an additional security barrier into the rest of the building.
Photos 3 and 4: lockable gates were added last month to the new fencing to secure the perimeter of the playground area.
The new security fence has been installed on the west side of the playground.
Installation of new security fencing next to the playground is taking place over spring break.
