Glencoe Shockwave Wins Big at Robotics World Championship

April 24, 2018 - Glencoe High School's Team Shockwave rolled to victory at the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas this weekend.  Leading an alliance of teams from Israel, California, and Wyoming, Shockwave’s alliance beat 60 other teams to win the Galileo Division and competed before 10,000 robotics fans on Einstein, the highest and most difficult field at the event.  The team came in 5th place overall out of 400 teams and also won the Innovation in Controls award in the Galileo division for their greatest achievement ever. Roll Shockwave!!
