Michelle Gray Selected as Century High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director

August 11, 2022 - Superintendent Scott announced today that long-time Century staff member Michelle Gray has been selected as the school’s new assistant principal/athletic director.

The position was previously held by Jeremy Corwin, who accepted a position in a different district earlier this summer.

A multi-sport high school and collegiate athlete earning eleven varsity letters in high school, Ms. Gray played softball for Lewis & Clark and basketball for both Lewis & Clark and Gonzaga University. Ms. Gray has coached youth basketball, soccer, and baseball, high school basketball and softball, and college softball. She has taught Spanish at Century since its opening in 1997, and has served in several other capacities including dual credit and AVID elective teacher, AVID site coordinator, team leader, and STAMP test coordinator.

Gray is widely respected among the staff and student body at Century, bringing enthusiasm, passion, and a strong work ethic to all she does.

According to Century Principal Julie Kasper, “She is organized, fair, experienced, and level-headed, and a pleasure to be around. I have no doubt that our students and families will enjoy working with her in her new capacity as assistant principal/athletic director.”
