December 5, 2022 - On Friday, Nov. 18 students in our Oregon Aerospace Careers for Everyone (O-ACE) program participated in an event celebrating Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air’s donation of a Bombardier DHC-8-402Q airplane to the PCC Foundation. PCC is a major partner that helped develop the O-ACE program, and because the plane will be housed at the Hillsboro Airport, O-ACE students will be able to interact with it regularly. “This is an amazing opportunity for our students!” remarked O-ACE instructor Sheri Brownlie. The donation was made possible by a collaborative effort between the airline, Oregon Air Show, Oregon Air Show Charitable Foundation, PCC Foundation, and the Port of Portland. Evento destacado: Donación de un avión a beneficio del programa O-ACE
El viernes, 18 de noviembre, los estudiantes de nuestro programa Profesiones Aeroespaciales de Oregón para Todos (O-ACE, por sus siglas en inglés) participaron en un evento para celebrar la donación de un avión Bombardier DHC-8-402Q a PCC Foundation por parte de Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air. PCC es un socio importante que ayudó a desarrollar el programa O-ACE, y debido a que el avión estará situado en el aeropuerto de Hillsboro, los estudiantes de O-ACE podrán interactuar con él regularmente. «¡Esta es una oportunidad increíble para nuestros estudiantes!» comentó la instructora de O-ACE, Sheri Brownlie.
