Featured Event: American Education Month Photo Contest

November 20, 2018 - Thank you to Glencoe senior Lena Gill for taking time to recognize math teacher Neysa Hammond for the American Education Month Photo Contest. Neysa writes: “Mrs. Hammond helped me immensely with pre-calculus. She was always willing to help me during lunch or after school. She made math fun rather than dreadful and always kept a positive attitude! She was one of my most influential and favorite teachers ever!” See other photos and entry guidelines on our website and submit your photo by Friday, Nov. 30, for a chance to be featured in Hot News and earn lunch with Superintendent Mike Scott.

Entry #7 - Submitted by Roseanna Ling of Mooberry Elementary of a student thank you and farewell to Special Ed. Assistant Karan Spenst who writes:  "Fourth and fifth grade students spent time writing letters and decorating posters for our class' assistant who has moved on to another school. She helped many students and staff at Mooberry ES and we are sad to see her go, but wish her all the best at her new school!"

Entry #11 - Submitted by Brookwood Elem. parent Lynn Landre of kindergartner Jovin Landre and teacher Sommer Kirk who writes: "Jovin loves his teacher, Ms. Kirk. He says, 'She is so nice. She teaches me math and how to read. I love her laugh!' As a parent, I love how positive she is with all the kids."

Always able to help us and keep us on top of our grades. High school has been much easier with her special help! Thank you Mrs. Fishback!”
