Imlay STEM Project with Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici

April 8, 2019 - On Friday, April 5, Brooke Godfrey's 4th graders at Imlay Elementary were treated to a science lesson dissecting small trout with the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership along with a special guest, Oregon Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici. The goal in starting students early is to foster success in middle and high school STEM careers.

The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership’s Students Outdoor Science program began in 2000 in response to teacher’s requests for resources and teaching support for science and outdoor learning.
