Liberty Health Science Students Earn Kaiser Permanente Scholarships

April 11, 2019 - Kaiser Permanente Northwest has announced that Liberty High School Health Sciences students Alan Hernandez Gonzalez ($2000) and Chivon Ou ($10,000) have been selected to receive Kaiser Permanente Health Care Career Scholarships.

Kaiser Permanente awards scholarships in amounts of $2,000, $5,000, or $10,000 to seniors at eligible high schools in the Northwest to help them achieve their dreams of becoming health care professionals. Since the program’s inception in 2008, Kaiser Permanente has awarded nearly $3.6 million in scholarship funding to more than 1,400 students.

Recipients of the Kaiser Permanente scholarship will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Oregon Health & Science University Collaborative Life Sciences Building in Portland.
