Liberty’s Erin Morrison Named Bank of America Student Leader for 2021

June 23, 2021 - Congratulations are in order for recent Liberty High School graduate Erin Morrison who was named one of the Bank of America’s Student Leaders for 2021. This prestigious program helps prepare students to enter the workforce through hands-on skills-building and leadership development.

Since 2004, the Bank of America Student Leaders program annually selects and recognizes 300 community-focused juniors and seniors and engages them in an eight-week paid internship where they work closely with local nonprofit organizations to develop leadership and workforce skills. These outstanding Student Leaders also participate in a week-long virtual leadership summit.

Erin Morrison was the only student selected from Liberty High School, and one of just four students selected from the Portland Metro area. She and the other local Student Leaders will be working with Habitat for Humanity this summer.

Erin is a member of the Hillsboro Youth Advisory Council (YAC), a Liberty High School Peer Mentor, a Make-A-Wish Ambassador, and has taught more than 400 girls about astronomy and STEM through a program she developed for local Girl Scouts.

Way to go, Erin! You make us Proud to be HSD!
