Glencoe Theatre Returns with a Ghostly Fall Comedy

Glencoe High School Theatre is elated to be back on stage, after twenty long months away, performing Eric Coble’s spine-chilling comedy Bright Ideas. In this modern take on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, two parents, Josh and Genevra, struggle in an unjust world to get their son, Mac, into just the right pre-school – Bright Ideas Academy. When all the odds are stacked against them, Josh and Genevra take matters into their own hands and prove that they are willing to do whatever it takes to get exactly what Mac needs. Both hilarious and creepy, this unique fall play will keep audience members on the edge of their seats from start to finish. Mac’s 4th birthday party will be…unforgettable.

Performances are Wednesday – Saturday, October 27 – 30 at 7:30 pm and are recommended for ages 13 and older.

Tickets are $7 in advance from the high school office or Glencoe webstore or  tickets are $10 at the door. Current card-carrying high school Thespians can attend for free by showing their Thespian card at the door.
