Hilhi Theatre Presents Plays by Tennessee Williams

HilHi is producing a night of three one act plays by Tennessee Williams. The Magic Tower, Summer at the Lake, and The Big Game.

These will open Nov. 12 at 7:30 pm. The full list of dates is Nov. 12, 13, 19, 20 at 7:30 pm and Nov. 14 and 21 at 2:30 pm. Ticket prices will be general admission at the door $10 dollars, $5 for students. 

Enjoy a night of three dramatic one acts by classic American playwright Tennessee Williams. 

The Magic Tower tells the story of the seemingly enchanted life of a struggling artist Jim and his wife Linda. Through their love they can turn a dismal attic into an enchanted tower. However, harsh realities of the world will test their fairy tale life. 

Summer at the Lake gives us a glimpse into the life of Donald, a teenage author, and his overbearing mother. A letter from Donald's father throws their life into chaos as they are told they will have to sell the summer home and cancel their plans. 

The Big Game takes focuses on three men in a hospital ward and their struggles with health. Dave is a young charity case with a heart disease, Tony is a college football star whose season came to a disastrous end, and Walton a middle-aged man struggling with a brain tumor and the surgery he must have for it.
