Gabriela Francis: Glencoe Rotary Student of the Month

November 10, 2022 - Congratulations are in order for Gabriela Francis, a senior at Glencoe High School, who is Hillsboro Rotary Student of the Month. Gabby was accompanied to receive her award certificate by her proud father, Gairy Francis, and Glencoe Activity Director, Tom Stephens. Gabby is the school’s Associated Student Body (ASB) president and has been actively involved in student government all 4 years.  She is also the president of Glencoe's Black Student Union and has played several high school sports, including softball, track, and football. An ACL injury stopped her involvement in sports, but the silver lining is, it directed her career ambitions toward physical therapy. Gabby plans to attend a 4-year college, hopefully her dream school at UCLA, where her brother attends. We wish Gabby much success in her endeavors!
