Ella Scharosch: Glencoe Rotary Student of the Month

January 19, 2023 - Congratulations to Ella Scharosch, a senior at Glencoe High School who is Hillsboro Rotary Student of The Month. Ella received her award certificate accompanied by her proud mom Lisa Scharosch, and her civics and community service honors class  teacher, Lisa Pearson. Ella has plans to study occupational therapy and loves the holistic view of patient care. To prepare, she has been taking health-related classes, with her senior project being a 30-hour internship and essay on the treatment of MS patients using physical and occupational therapy. Ella has been the executive assistant in the civics class clothing closet and is part of the Lincoln Street buddy program helping elementary students with homework. She is also active in HOSA, a health-related school club. Ella plans to attend George Fox University this fall to study kinesiology and continue with her education dreams toward occupational therapy. We wish Ella much success in all her endeavors!
