Briseyda Quintana Paz: Hilhi Rotary Student of the Month

January 19, 2023 - Congratulations Briseyda Quintana Paz, a senior at Hillsboro High School who is Hillsboro Rotary Student of The Month. Briseyda received her award certificate accompanied by Hilhi activities director and leadership teacher Sarah Cole. Briseyda is the senior class student body vice president, where she makes it her goal to listen to all student voices. She is also the treasurer in M.E.Ch.A., a student group that strives for higher education, cultural values, and to strengthen identity and gain consciousness of issues faced in the community. Briseyda is also in the dual language program, participates in link crew, and is involved in the international baccalaureate honors program. Some past and future events she has worked on with the link crew are the upcoming all-school lip-sync assembly, welcoming over 300 freshmen at the beginning of the school year, the winter formal dance, and being able to sell and fundraise for her graduating class at the school club rush coming up this spring. Briseyda plans to attend Oregon State University to study Bio Health Sciences. She has plans to be a labor and delivery nurse. We wish Brisayda much success in all her future endeavors!
