May 28, 2019 - Congratulations are in order for several of our spring sports teams. The Century Jaguars were Pacific League Champions in Baseball with a 23-6 record. They finished the season ranked #2 in Oregon. They won a first round playoff game against Sandy, but were upset by Central Catholic in the second round. Glencoe Crimson Tide also clinched a Pacific League Championship in Softball with a 23-5 record. They finished the season ranked #6 in Oregon. They beat both Centennial and Westview in the playoffs and were unfortunately bested 4-2 by Sheldon in the quarterfinals. Hilhi Spartans were champions of the NW Oregon Conference in Softball and ranked #3 in the state with a 26-1 season. They beat Lebanon in the first round of playoffs and beat Crater 2-1 in the quarterfinals. They take on Dallas in the semifinals on May 28. Glencoe girls were at it again on the track where they won the Pacific Conference District Championship. The Tide got seven wins and four seconds to tally 155 points, edging out Sherwood for the Girl’s Track title. Great job to our spring sports athletes!
Update 6/3/2019 - In Lacrosse: Glencoe beat Liberty for the League Championship, but they met again a week later in the first round of playoffs and Liberty won by 1 point. Liberty lost to Lake Oswego in the next round of playoffs.
