Rotary Student of the Month: December 2019

Hillsboro Rotary’s Student of the Month from the Hillsboro Online Academy is Katelyn Braithwaite, pictured here receiving her award from President, Dennis Frame.

Katelyn was accompanied to the meeting by her parents, Nathan and Suki Braithwaite, and Linda Harrington, Principal of Hillsboro Online Academy. Katelyn credits her mom for instilling in her a hard work ethic and how that quality leads to success. Katelyn is passionate about taking care of the environment and has the goal of studying to become an environmentalist with plans to attend Central Oregon Community College.

Among her many accomplishments, Katelyn is also a member of the Cornelius Youth Advisory Committee. We wish her much success as she pursues her studies in environmental science!
