March 14, 2023 - Congratulations are in order for Bryan Cardenas from Liberty High School who is Hillsboro Rotary Student of The Month. Bryan was accompanied to receive his award certificate by his proud parents, Natasha and Travis, and his teacher, Kristen Rekow with the Child Development Program. Bryan works with the children at Liberty Falcon's preschool, and when they greet him with the cheer 'Teacher Bryan!' he feels like he's in the right place.Bryan enjoys the relationships he builds with the children, and plans to continue his education in child development and social services. He is particularly interested in working with kids with disabilities, due to the influence of his aunt, who has Down Syndrome. Bryan thanked his parents and Ms. Rekow for supporting his journey. We wish him great success in his future endeavors!
