Kaiser RISE Teen Mental Health Support Curriculum
November 30, 2020 - Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre Program is proud to offer “Ghosted,” a FREE virtual mental health performance, facilitated educational talkback, and optional workshop for 8th-12th grade students. “Ghosted” follows four high school students as they navigate the different challenges impacting their mental health. Set in the context of distance learning and the current climate, “Ghosted” addresses many issues students currently face: increased anxiety, being home-bound in unstable environments, and uncertainty about the future. 

  • 60-69 minute facilitated viewing & educational wrap-up, offered to groups of up to 35 in each session
  • Optional 60-90 minute interactive, live-streamed workshop offered to groups of up to 35 in each session
  • Designed for students in grades 8-12; aligns with Oregon Health Standards
  • All workshops include free resources for educators and students available for download and distribution

Ready, Set, RISE!: Trauma-Informed e-learning Modules for Educators
Learn how to implement trauma-informed practices, and sustain collective care and well-being at your school with the help of Ready, Set, RISE!. The first of four modules, Trauma-Informed Care and Educator Well-being, provides educators with the tools and understanding of how trauma-informed practices can impact educator well-being and support teaching in any school setting.

Kaiser Permanente, in partnership with Discovery Education and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, have expanded their Resilience in School Environments (RISE) Initiative to offer Ready, Set, RISE! – a versatile series of no-cost virtual resources designed to support educators with fostering greater social and emotional resilience in schools.
