The 2026 Elevating Voices in Education (EVE) Workforce Survey from the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) is now open. Your voice is essential to help school, district, and state leaders identify and prioritize your needs and allocate resources most effectively.
What You Need to Know:
- All members of Oregon’s Public Education Workforce are invited to participate (i.e., licensed, classified, and contract staff who work for a Public Education Provider).
- The survey is voluntary, confidential, and anonymous. ODE will not share your individual responses with schools, districts, ESDs, or other public education providers.
- The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

- English or Spanish versions of the survey will automatically display if the respective language is the browser's default language. Participants can also select English or Spanish in the language toggle at the top of the survey.

- The survey window will be open now through March 31, 2026.
- ODE will provide aggregated and suppressed data to each Public Education Provider for use in improvement planning processes.

In response to recent community stressors, two of our community partners have generously offered to provide free virtual staff support opportunities: School Staff Support Group sessions provided by Youth Contact, and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol sessions provided by the Sage Counseling Collective.

By February 1, classified staff members may request consideration for a voluntary transfer to another school or assignment for the 2026-27 school year. Please see the email sent to you on Wednesday, January 7, for additional information, and reach out to Human Resources Director Martha Rodriquez Siordia with questions.
By March 1, 2026, licensed staff members may request consideration for a voluntary transfer to another school or assignment, leave of absence, and/or decreased or increased FTE for the 2026-27 school year.
